We just want to give a quick shot out to the mechanics over at Tip Top Auto Body in Hamilton, Ontario. They're a great group of guys who service their community with services like collision repair, window tinting and much more. Go check them out and give them some love, because they recently did a great job fixing up the car of a one of our staff's grandmas and we're super grateful.

Our new year resolution here at Victoria Mould Removal is to rid as many attics and crawl spaces on Vancouver Island as possible, but this couldn't be possible if people didn't wish for cleaner homes in 2022.
If you wish to restore your attic, clean up your crawl spaces and breathe easier with full mould remediation services in Victoria BC, you're in the right place.
Happy belated New Year!
To watch the Canucks Game tonight at 6:45 pm, we've taken an early day off to ferry over to Vancouver BC where we're meeting up with good friends of ours. This may be the most important game of the NHL season so we're very excited, and want good company to share it with. We don't have much time so I'm writing this quickly.
Our plans: Grab a hotel room before the game starts then head over to our reservations at the Rogers Arena Sports Bar to meet up with our buddies. Then, we're gonna enjoy some drinks while we watch the Canucks hopefully win.
About our friends: They're in a similar industry to us because they also clean a musky pest that nature loves to throw at houses. While we clean mold, usually on the inside of houses, they clean moss on the exterior of houses, especially off of rooftops. They also do gutter and window cleaning from Burnaby to West Vancouver.
They're not the biggest but they're definitely one of the best roof cleaning Vancouver companies. They're called Vancouver Moss Removal.
We highly recommend them if you need roof moss removal services anywhere in Metro Vancouver. We can't wait to see them because it's nearly been a year. If we win tonight's game, they'll be coming over to Victoria BC to watch the next one. So pray we win!
We're so proud to be Canadian, not because we were born in one of the safest, most caring countries in the world but because the people here are amazing and to us the whole country feels like one fantastic community of loving folks.
We just wanted to reach out with this little post and remind people how grateful they should be to be living in Canada. We surely love it here, and hope you do too!
My Brother Visits from Windsor, Ont. to Help Mother Move
Yes, it's true. My brother came all the way from Ontario with his truck to help our mother move. I told him I could handle it but he didn't trust me. For brothers, we never really trusted each other enough. I think he was just waiting for an excuse to come visit and drive his new truck across Canada. Anyways, he came and left and I just wanted to make this official thank you to show my appreciation. So, thanks Daniel. You're the man, and I always looked up to you as a big brother. You helped me get my mold removal company off the ground by loaning the money I needed, and I love you for it, despite the interest I paid, haha, and I'll always love you, big bro!
For readers of this blog who aren't familiar with my family, my mother has lived on Vancouver Island all her life and we just helped her move from Saanichton BC to Sidney BC. It's not a long distance move but she couldn't have done it on her own. My brother works in Ontario for a company called Appliance Repair Windsor but he eventually wants to move back out here. I think it'll be hard for him to accept the fact, but he'll be my employee for the company and together we hope to expand it. Sure enough, I'll give him a share of the company but only to the point where my current employees don't get jealous. They're already aware of this, even my employees who have been with me the longest, and they understand completely.
Family must stick together! So once again, thanks dear Daniel. You truly are the man (and I'm jealous of your truck).
Check Out the Facebook Group "Supporting Local Businesses on Vancouver Island"
Today we're very excited to share a fabulous resource we recently discovered. A brand new Facebook group for supporting local businesses on Vancouver Island is here, since early April 2020. I personally, the one writing this, have spent hours in this group already connecting with other business owners and I wanted to share the link here and recommend it because I believe all local businesses on Vancouver Island could benefit from joining this group if they have a Facebook account.
Check out the group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/vilocalbusiness/
So far the kind of support I've been seeing in this group ranges from shared knowledge and information to new clients, connections and general promotion--getting your brand out there. Victoria Mould Removal is very grateful to have this supportive community. The people in the group are amazing, and it's wonderful meeting other business owners, managers and connecting with like-minded, hard-working people in Victoria BC.
If you have services you'd like to share with locals on Vancouver Island, consider joining the group because there're people in there who would love to support you any way they can--whether it's sharing your promotional post, liking your Facebook page or getting you new clients who need your services. We haven't shared our services in the group yet but will eventually. Right now we're just showing our support and sitting back, impressed by the friendliness and love that's available here on the island.
Whether you're a plumber in Langford or a doctor in Sidney, this group is for you, and it's a great way to connect with locals, whether they be new business partners or customers. So just remember, no matter how hard things are going during this COVID-19 pandemic there's a great place to get support on Vancouver Island. Real connections can be made and once again we just want to say how grateful we are to have this new group, and we can't wait to see it grow so more people can take advantage of its resources.
Thank you "Support Local Businesses on Vancouver Island" for being such a great, helpful community!
Do you want to know what is the correct way to spell mold or mould? We're mold removal experts, and we're here to explain.
You may be wondering why we sometimes interchange the words "mold" and "mould" on our website when we talk about our services. You're not the only one. Grammarist has a whole page dedicated to this topic: https://grammarist.com/spelling/mold-mould/
Hopefully we can still add something new to this debate with our expertise. Living in Canada, especially "British" Columbia, we tend to see the spelling "mould" just as much or if not more than we see the spelling "mold." That's because the British spelling for naming this fungus is "mould." Just like how Americans spell "ax" we still spell "axe." When deciding the name of our company we wanted to be conventional here in Victoria BC because we're relatively new to an established industry, and we wanted to use the spelling "mould." However, we still use the American spelling a lot of the time because we respect other people's choice to spell it that way and it also makes it clear exactly what services we provide.
Some people find that this divide in the way to spell this fungus is an annoying hassle, just like how different countries use different measurement systems. But we appreciate the culture and history between these differences and don't find it much of a bother to work around the divide. We don't even really think of it as a divide. My colleagues all agree we're so used to typing "center" but meaning "centre." It makes life more interesting having these differences.
If we didn't teach anything new with this write up then we hope you find what you're looking for. There's a lot of great information our there. If you're in Victoria BC and want to know more, feel free to contact us and ask some questions.
